F&B Manager

We are looking for an experienced F&B Manager for Garabagh Resort & SPA! We are looking for professional candidates who will manage the restaurant and bar services to high standards and ensure guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the department and implementing general management, distributing work among subordinate employees in accordance with relevant job descriptions;
  • Supervising the provision of high-quality food and beverage services;
  • Regularly checking the warehouse belonging to the catering department;
  • Managing daily operations (cash register);
  • Providing information to department employees during trainings about the current menu (portions, ingredients and additives);
  • Conducting various trainings to maintain customer satisfaction in accordance with the hotel's hospitality standards;
  • Organizing the implementation of guests' special food and beverage needs and wishes;
  • Regularly establishing contacts with other departments in the hotel and checking information about guests;
  • Monitoring that employees work in accordance with hotel standards;
  • Regularly conducting meetings and development trainings;
  • Organizing the use, ordering, purchasing and repair of defective and finished products;
  • Work within the budget allocated to the catering department;
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of the hotel's common areas and services;
  • Obtain advance notice of upcoming events and inform staff;
  • Prepare and monitor event venues;
  • Regularly prepare reports and documents;
  • Ensure that other instructions given by management are implemented within their authority;
  • Report serious work violations and hazardous situations to management;
  • Evaluate procedures and work;
  • Maintain work attire and demand the same level of attention from department staff;
  • Manage all aspects of the catering department's computer system, including software, reporting, analysis and simple configuration changes;
  • Review activity reports generated by the night manager;
  • Plan, forecast and execute food and beverage orders;
  • Supervise customer service;
  • Supervise hygiene practices of catering staff;
  • Oversee the preparation and posting of weekly work schedules in the department, ensuring that they reflect business needs and other key performance indicators.

Required skills:

  • Higher education in a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in a relevant position.
  • Professional, businesslike appearance and presentation;
  • Problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills;
  • Computer skills: Ability to use MS Office programs and office equipment - high level;
  • Language skills: Azerbaijani and Russian - fluent, English - good level.

Working conditions:

  • 5-day work schedule;
  • Working hours: 09:00-18:00 (Saturday and Sunday are days off)
  • Salary: Determined in accordance with the staffing table;
  • Voluntary medical insurance (voluntary medical insurance of the employee himself and his dependent family members) is provided;
  • The employee is provided with housing and three meals a day;
  • Job Location: Naftalan city, Garabag Resort&Spa Naftalan Hotel.
